Four ShoreTel Leaders Named to CRN’s 2015 Women of the Channel
Back in 2007 CRN Magazine listed the 50 most powerful women in the channel, highlighting some of the most savvy and influential leaders in the industry. That list doubled the following year and has continued to increase in number, reaching 340 in 2014. This year’s list is just out and shows further strides with a record 440 leaders in its ranks.
It’s heartening to see such progress in an industry that is not exactly known to attract female leaders. Take a closer look at the bios for the 2015 Women of the Channel and you’ll see why the numbers are growing. From spearheading strategies that increase channel profitability to driving transformative programs that accelerate adoption of technologies such as cloud solutions, the class of 2015 is positively shaping the industry.
ShoreTel is honored to have four of our leaders earn this prestigious award:
- Sylvia Pocs, director of partner business managers and channel sales support
- Heather Tenuto, vice president of worldwide channel programs and sales enablement
- Carla Waller, director of DMR channels
- Bridget Winston, director of partner business management for the Western region
Tenuto and Winston were also recipients last year, underscoring the ShoreTel channel team’s on-going leadership. Tenuto also ranks among the 2015 Power 100 and earlier this year she was named a CRN Channel Chief.
Just as the overall list shows an upward trend for women in the channel, it also shows great momentum for ShoreTel. We are contributing more leaders to the list, up from three last year. And we continue to deliver what we believe is the strongest, most collaborative channel program to help our business partners thrive in the market place.
Here’s to more growth for Women in the Channel and to more innovative programs that benefit our industry in the year ahead.
